Ozzie deFaria is a Republican candidate for Congressional District 20 in the state of Florida, seeking to unseat U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Just weeks before announcing his campaign he needed a state-of-the-art website and campaign logo. Fliers, signage, palm cards, business cards, stationery and more were quickly created and ready for his announcement. The website launched the day before. It’s a custom WordPress website with multiple page templates and custom post types. The navigation menu has an animated sliding effect, a third-party donation/fundraising system is integrated, multimedia is utilized, and a fixed footer provides always available access to donate, “Like” any page on Facebook or tweet about it on Twitter. The Action Center incorporates buttons that can be displayed on a blog or website to show support for the candidate, a form to submit personal endorsements of the candidate that will display on the site, and numerous other custom functions.
